Although it is not a typical career goal for most people, there is a pretty huge community of people who head off to a farm to work growing cannabis at a young age.
There is plenty of money to be made in the marijuana growing business, and young, adventurous people are certainly loving it! For a normal season, farmers can potentially make an average year’s salary for a few months of incredibly difficult labor.
Many of the people who choose this type of life will be provided with housing and food while working on the farm with cannabis plants. There are negatives to this kind of work too. Most of the time, the living conditions are not ideal. I have heard of people having to live in a small loft space in a barn with a group of other people. The entire style of living might scare people away from wanting to grow pot plants on a farm. Also, it is typical for farmers on a pot farm to have extremely long hours with very little human interaction. There is not much excitement on the farm growing pot plants, and that can be a truly difficult time for some people. Job security is also a pretty huge concern. If the farm is not doing so well, the farmers might not get paid for the tremendous amount of work they did or be asked to return for another season. Although a superb season can bring in tons of money in a short stage of time, it is not for everyone. There are all kinds of people who are considering this and they truly must think hard about this decision. People who are fine with caring for numerous cannabis plants for a period of time should just go for it!
