Reducing seizures

Approximately numerous million Americans suffer from epilepsy, making it the second most common neurological disorder.  The numbers are growing as 150,000 people are ran tests on each year… Epilepsy is linked to genetic predisposition, brain infections, brain tumors, congenital abnormalities, stroke and injuries to the brain! Abnormal brain cell interest causes recurrent seizures which sometimes involve only a part of the body and brain, or the whole body and both brain hemispheres. Some of the symptoms include involuntary movements, convulsions, temporary paralysis, confusion, loss of consciousness, memory loss and mood swings, medicine is capable of controlling epilepsy symptoms, the long-term side-effects can be problematic and even devastating! Fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, vomiting, allergic reactions and tremors are common concerns, then prolonged use of epilepsy medications can result in irritability, elevated anxiety, aggression, paranoia, bone thinning, hair growth, liver and pancreas destruction, blood clotting issues, and kidney issues. Fortunately, modern research indicates that cannabinoids, recognizably CBD, may provide an effective and alternative epilepsy treatment.  This is not a modern concept. Throughout history, outdated societies have taken advantage of cannabis to regulate seizures. Because of federal classification as a Schedule 1 substance, insufficient research has been conducted in the United States. In other countries, more in-depth studies have proven the medicinal potential of CBD in treating epilepsy. Parents of children who suffer from epilepsy are experiencing a reduction in seizure frequency because of CBD-enriched cannabis treatment. There are cases where children report being particularly seizure-free with major improvement in symptoms. Because CBD is all natural, there are no adverse side-effects.
